The openess between these two spaces enhances the qualities of both; more of a shared space rather than two separate rooms. The kitchen is straight ahead, through either door, and the sunroom is to the right.

The floor, wainscoting and built-ins are original. The walls, ceiling and period lighting are not. The dining room also acts as a hub. Straight ahead lies the hallway.

Here we see the sunroom. Originally a pergola porch, it was enclosed in the thirties or forties (?) and is a favorite sitting place, particularly in the winter.

The sunroom has a door to its own patio.
